Dear Murray // Welcome Home

We welcomed our baby boy Murray Andrew Brochu on June 4th.  After 36 hours of labor and a couple of failed epidurals, I would do it a million times over to have this precious gift.  In between feedings, snuggles, changing diapers, and washing jammies, there's just enough time to kiss him at least a hundred times a day.  The best word to describe him is perfect.

Welcome Home. 

Waiting for Baby

The nursery is ready, the car seat is installed, the hospital bag is packed...now all we need is a baby! I'm ready when you are Baby! :)

Last weekend, my beautiful friend Laura threw Baby B and me a shower!  

Doing life in Dayton with this girl is the best.
She's such an encouraging, loving friend and I'm so thankful for her! 

The food was delicious, the people were special, and the conversation was all things baby!  

And to make the weekend even more perfect, Rebecca, Brittany, and Ashley road tripped to Dayton to be a part of it all!  

I feel officially showered, blessed and loved after both the beautiful Southern Love Baby Shower in Fort Worth and the Midwest is Best Shower right at home in Dayton.  

And of course, when Rebies, Britters and Ash come to town, Dayton comes to life, and there are many snuggles, spontaneous dance parties, exploration of local spots, and adventures to be had!

Group effort to bake a 3 layer almond cake. Clearly, Rebies was the designated taste tester ;)

Dr. A stepped in to perform surgery on the cake when it started to tip over! :)  

And what would a weekend with these girls be without a spontaneous dance party,
before making a quick thai food run?! 

And I could relive this weekend over and over again!
